Cancellation / No Show Policy

As we reopen from the Coronavirus crisis, we have adopted NEW (temporary) cancellation/no show policies.  We ask everyone arrive at least 15 minutes before their schedules appointment to check in.

We reserve the right to require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of up to 100% to hold appointments. This policy is meant to protect the TIME of the stylist and the salon when we expect the demand for appointments will be very high, and availability very low. 

Failure to show ON TIME or cancel within 24 hours for haircuts and 48 hours for chemical services, will forfeit 100% of your deposit. If proper notice is given, the deposit will remain as a future deposit/credit towards rebooking another appointment. 

As schedules begin to normalize and restrictions are loosened, we will also loosen our cancellation policies. Thanks for your understanding during these difficult times. 


 All our organic retail products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed.  If a client is not satisfied with a product purchased at Lava Salon and has clearly used less than 25% of the product and returns the product within 45 days from their purchase date, the client will receive a 100% refund or salon credit towards the purchase or exchange of another product. The credit is not transferable between products and services.

All guest certificates purchased are final sale. If not used within one year, the gift certificate will automatically expire. If used partially within the first year, the purchaser will have up to an additional year from the last date of use. 

All gift certificate purchases are 100% transferable to friends or family members (transfer must be requested via email with exact details).  Gift Certificates may be used towards the purchase of services and/or products.
