We reserve the right to require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of up to 100% (and/or a working credit card on file) to hold appointments. Credit card info stored is encrypted and fully PCI compliant. This policy is meant to protect the TIME of the stylist and the salon.
Failure to show ON TIME or cancel within 24 hours for haircuts or 48 hours for chemical services, may forfeit up to 100% of your deposit, or your card on file may be charged up to 100% of your missed scheduled appointment. If proper notice is given, a deposit can remain as a future applicable credit towards rebooking another appointment.
A ONE-TIME, 50% deposit is required for all first time chemical guests, and 100% deposit for all first time haircuts, and we may require a VALID credit card kept on file or non-refundable deposit if the guest is late, reschedules after the allotted time, or no shows an appointment.
All our organic retail products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If a client is not satisfied with a product purchased at Lava Salon and has clearly used less than 25% of the product and returns the product within 45 days from their purchase date, the client will receive a 100% refund or salon credit towards the purchase or exchange of another product. This is a retail credit and not transferrable between products and services.
All guest certificates and deposits purchased are considered final sale but can be used as credit towards services, retail and gratuities . If not used within one year, the credit will automatically expire. If used partially within the first year, the purchaser will have up to an additional year from the last date of use.
Guest certificates and deposits will remain redeemable at any Lava Salon location but will NOT carry over with a stylist should they leave our company. However, all guest certificate purchases are 100% transferable to friends or family members (transfer must be requested via email with exact details).
