Cancellation / No Show Policy

(UPDATED MARCH 2024) First time guests are required to leave a one-time deposit upon the booking of their appointment providing a working credit card which is stored, encrypted and fully PCI compliant. . A 100% deposit is required for haircuts and an approximate 50% deposit is required for chemical services.  This policy is meant to protect the TIME of the stylist and the salon. 


Deposits are then deducted from your service total upon completion of your appointment.  We ask everyone try to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to check in. Confirmation calls are made 1-2 days before your appointment and are also sent via text and email through our booking system. 


Failure to show ON TIME or cancel within 24 hours for haircuts and 48 hours for chemical services, may forfeit 100% of your deposit, or your card on file may be charged up to 100% of your missed scheduled appointment. 


If proper notice is given, the deposit will remain as a future applicable credit towards rebooking another appointment. Should you need to reschedule or cancel within the appointed cancellation timeframe, your deposit can roll over to your next appointment or be refunded. 

RETAIL & GUEST CERTIFICATE REFUND POLICY

All our organic retail products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed.  If a client is not satisfied with a product purchased at Lava Salon and has clearly used less than 25% of the product and returns the product within 45 days from their purchase date, the client will receive a 100% refund or salon credit towards the purchase or exchange of another product. This is a retail credit and not transferrable towards services.


All guest certificates and deposits purchased are considered final sale but can be used as credit towards services, retail and gratuities . If not used within one year, the credit will automatically expire. If used partially within the first year, the purchaser will have up to an additional year from the last date of use. 


Guest certificates and deposits will remain redeemable at any Lava Salon location but will NOT carry over with a stylist should they leave our company (and or become independent).  However, all guest certificate purchases are 100% transferable to friends or family members (transfer must be requested via email with exact details).
