ALL Employees and guests are required to wear protective facemasks while inside Lava Salon. This is non negotiable as they are currently required by our SC Board of Barbering & Cosmetology.
Guests will be required to bring disposable facemasks that attach around the ears. If they do not bring masks or bring the wrong kind, then disposable facemasks will be provided for a nominal fee ($2).
We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. If you are healthy, we look forward to seeing you with your protective facemask!
A medical status acknowledgment and release waiver will be required to be signed (digitally or paper copy) within 24 hours of entering salon for scheduled appointment.
Employees nor guests will be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 symptoms and/or a temperature of 99.6 or higher within the last 24 hours. Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
If you are 60 or older, immunocompromised, asthmatic, have allergies, respiratory or any other issues that cause coughing or heavy breathing, we are inviting you to rebook with us at a time that is either during off hours or when restrictions eventually loosen for us.
If you have been sick with a fever, cold, flu or virus, we ask you please stay home and immediately reschedule your appointment.
If you or someone close to you has travelled from anywhere foreign or domestic that is considered a hotspot for Coronavirus activity, please reschedule your appointment.
Employees and guests will receive a touchless thermal temperature check that will be recorded in their appointment notes, prior to entering premises. Any temperature registering at 99.6 or higher will be politely refused entry and offered an opportunity to return at a later date. These are the same guidelines used and recognized by hospital medical staff.
If you become compromised and/or discover that you have the actual Covid-19 virus after an appointment, please notify us immediately.
